Jessica Simpson celebrates 100 pound weight loss

Jessica Simpson has a lot to celebrate. After giving birth to her third child, Birdie Mae in March,  the entrepreneur is revealing that she shed 100 pounds of extra body weight off of her 5’3″ frame.

The singer/actress took to Instagram to share stunning photos of new look after putting in the the hard work to lose 100 pounds in 6 months. Jessica shared that she tipped the scales at 240 pounds. The first photo shows Jessica dressed in a black dress with a cinched waist, showing her weight loss. In the second photo, Jessica is holding her baby girl.

“6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240 😜), she wrote. “My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder. 💚”

Jessica’s trainer Harley Pasternek also celebrated his client’s accomplishments with his own post.

“Beyond proud of this incredible woman,” Harley wrote. “Been working together for over 12 years and she’s always the most warm, sweet, polite, and respectful person in the world. And on top of it all, after being nonstop pregnant for as long as I can remember, she’s down 100 pounds and looks younger today than she was when we met. Shout out to the awesome @sydneyliebes #fitclients #jessicasimpson.”

Jessica made not secret of her pregnancy weight gain, joking on Instagram about breaking her toilet seat and sharing photos of her swollen feet.

“Warning…Don’t lean back on the toilet when pregnant 🤦🏼‍♀️,” she said wrote alongside a photo of herself holding the broken toilet seat.

Jessica and husband Eric welcomed their first child, Maxwell, in 2012 and their second, Ace, in 2013. Birdie Mae arrived in March 2019.
