Real Housewives of New Jersey husband, Joe Gorga, is finding himself in some hot water. While trying to promote his house-flipping business, the husband of housewife Melissa Gorga, shared photos of houses that apparently were not flipped.

According to Page Six, Joe posted a “before” and “after” photo of a house that was supposed to have been renovated by him. The post has since been deleted.

“Look at this flip worth $1.9m,” the reality star wrote in the post alongside the house photos. “Took me 6 months to turn this around. Ripped off the roof & added to the second floor. I think I might move in.”

Joe’s “woke” followers jumped on the post claiming the houses are not the same. Page six captured some of the comments his followers shared. “Must of ripped out the first floor also to make a bi level a colonial,” one commenter wrote. The actual owner of the home, Caley Svensson, told Page Six that her house was the “after” house and the “before” house was located elsewhere.

“When @JoeyGorga tries to rip off your house and claim he flipped it …” she posted her Insta story.

However, Joe spoke with Page Six, telling them that it was a mixup by his social media manager, who “made a mistake.” He revealed that he did in fact work on the “after” house as a funder with an investment group. “I helped fund that project,” he told Page Six. “I’m a private lender. I did fund the deal.”

He later added, “I don’t flip people’s houses. I buy properties. I don’t deal with homeowners … because I am a famous guy and people overreact.”
