Justin Bieber has found himself on the wrong end of a lawsuit. The “Sorry” singer is being sued by the photographer who he hit during accident back in 2017.
According to court documents obtained by ET, Photographer William Wilson claims that Justin was pulling out of a driveway at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, California, on July 26, 2017, and struck him with his truck. William also alleges that because of Justin’s “negligence,” he suffers “injuries to his health, strength and activity.”
TMZ was on the scene when the incident occurred and shared the video from the incident. There were no charges brought against Justin at the time of the accident.
In addition, William posted a video from his hospital bed at the time of the incident. In it, he said that he believed that the truck was too big for Justin.
“An hour before my birthday hits I get ran over by Justin Bieber. Isn’t that something? He’s a good kid though. I think the truck was a little to bit too big for him though cause there is no way he could see over the front,” Willliam said. “Like I said he got out, he was compassionate. He’s a good kid. Accident’s happen. Hopefully everything works out here.”
According to TMZ, William’s lawyer revealed that the victim is suing because talks with Justin’s lawyer broke down after receiving a “lowball” offer. As far as injuries, his lawyer tells TMZ that “William suffered a torn meniscus and knee cap damage and had to undergo arthroscopic surgery.”
We smell a settlement in the future.
