UPDATE: The final reveal is here and well, there’s nothing all that exciting about it.

If you aren’t familiar with the over-the-top work of art that is the Kardashian-Jenner-West-Odom-Disick Christmas card, you’re truly missing out on a vital part of the pop culture Holiday season. Just like it’s necessary to watch “Christmas Vacation” and wear an ugly sweater with a wreath on it, it’s necessary to take a gander at America’s most ostentatious Christmas extravaganza.

In the past the Kardashian-Jenner crew has done a simple release of the photo. Maybe, they’ve even sent cards in the mail to their fan club, I have no idea. But, this year, they’ve opted to release a photo a day for 25 days. The series is aptly titled, “The 25 Days of Xmas.”

Here’s the thing– if you’re going to be vain enough to do something like this, at least put Christmas in the title. We’re really going to go with Xmas, Kim? Also, if you’re not going to use Christmas, why not just make it Kristmas?

Some have likened the release of one photo a day on Kim Kardashian-West’s Instagram to an Advent calendar, which likely leaves most pastors and Evangelicals shuddering at the thought of the Kardashian-Jenner-Wests testing the market on releasing their own version of an Advent calendar. By 2019 they’ll be schlepping their own candles and nativity scenes. Actually, a nativity set could probably be out by next year– Khloe Kardashian is expecting a baby with boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

So, far this year’s card is a dressed-down version of their normal super formal attire. Maybe that’s why they opted for the literal 25-day rollout of this goodness? I’ve seen singers and movie stars spend less time discussing new releases. Literally, Chris Pratt went on “Ellen” once to discuss “Jurassic World,” which had a $150 million budget. The Kardashian-Jenner-West photoshoot budget was likely just under that, because this year they fell into the Gap.

So, what’s different about this year’s photo/card/monstrosity? Kanye West agreed to have his photo taken, Scott Disick is out, Kylie Jenner is nowhere to be seen and ol’ Rob Kardashian is definitely not partaking in this insanity, but his child, Dream, did get a signed permission slip to be apart of the family. Gotta collect those royalty checks, you know?

Also, this year, Kris Jenner’s mom, MJ, is featured. One Jenner out, another grandmother in?

So, this year, as you’re wrapping your gifts and remembering the reason for the season, don’t forget to check in on the “25 Days of Xmas.” It’s truly the gift that keeps on giving.

Kardashian-Jenner-West-Odom-Disick Christmas Cards of Past

This one featured Bruce (Caitlyn) Jenner’s kids, too. And a motorcycle.

‘Tis the season to look like you’re heading to a murder mystery party!

Actually, this is the most glamorous thing I’ve ever seen.

The year it went to far.

Honestly, this one looks like it was shot so it could also double as an ad for Target. Kris Jenner may be a lot of things, but she’s never one to miss a business opportunity.

Do you think that ladder is for sell on eBay somewhere now?
