Today co-host Kathie Lee Gifford lost her husband, Frank Gifford, in 2015 after 29 years of marriage. Now, she’s opening up about grief and moving forward.

In an interview with Acess Live, Gifford shared that she’s not currently dating anyone or pursuing relationships, she did go on a date after her husband’s death– but it didn’t go well because he didn’t’ share her beliefs. “My faith isn’t something I do on Sunday mornings for an hour,” she said. “My faith is me and I’m not gonna share my life with somebody, or even another hour of my life on a date with you, if you don’t share the same passion for your faith as I do.”

Gifford shared that she knows people can be intimidated by her, as well as by her late husband. “Some men are afraid of strong women. I wouldn’t be interested in a man like that anyway,” she said. “And some men are afraid of living up to the mantle of Frank Gifford.”

Frank Gifford was a commentator for ABC, and was a football player for the Giants in his younger years. “There’s no reason for [people to compare themselves to him]. Frank was just a flawed man like anybody else is. I didn’t know him as a 8-time Hall of Famer, he was my husband,” she said. “He was my friend for four years before we fell in love. So, if that’s part of God’s will, for me, I’m certainly open to it.”

I’m open to anybody that has their own teeth,” she said. Hear that, fellas?\
