Well, Kelly has one more reason to be proud of her daughter, Lola who recently went off to College. The 18-year-old took to social media to share a clip of her beautiful singing voice. Not many fans were aware that Lola could sing.
She simply captioned the video with a black heart emoji.
While Lola is not seen in the video, the only shot is that of a wall, we hear her belt out the song “Jealous,” by Labyrinth.
“I’m jealous of the rain / That falls upon your skin / It’s closer than my hands have been / I’m jealous of the rain / I’m jealous of the wind / That ripples through your clothes / It’s closer than your shadow /Oh, I’m jealous of the wind,” cause, she sings.
Mom Kelly and Dad Mark Consuelos were quick to share their approval in the comments section. Mark commented with several black hearts, in reference to his daughter’s one heart post. And mom wrote, “You are gifted ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.”
Friend of the family, Faith Ford also shared her opinion of Lola’s singing. “So beautiful!!❤️❤️❤️🌟❤️❤️❤️,” she wrote.
While we aren’t sure if Lola is going to pursue a career in music, we do know that she sure has the talent to do so.
Back in August, Mark and Kelly sent their second child off to college and shared the bittersweet moment on Instagram. The Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host shared a throwback pic of her, husband Mark Consuelos and their then newborn daughter Lola on her Christening day.
“#tbt 2001 from your Christening to college,” wrote Ripa. “In the blink of an eye. I’m not crying. You’re crying (actually Daddy’s sobbing) ”
It’s all happy tears.
