Lamar Odom Reveals He Threatened Life of Ex-Wife Khloe Kardashian— “You Don’t Know What I’m Capable Of”

In an explosive new book, Darkness to Light, former basketball player, Lamar Odom is sharing the dark details of his drug induced life.

The ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian spoke to Good Morning America about his memoir and revealed a serious incident that took place in his marriage,  where he tried to kill his wife while under the influence of drugs.

In one of his drug-induced rages, Lamar reveals in the book that he became paranoid and was hallucinating, locking himself in a room. Khloe was worried when Lamar would not respond or come out of the room, so instead of calling police, she called a friend for help. She then went to the door to check on her husband again.

“I opened it suddenly and grabbed her forcefully by the shoulders, which frightened her,” Lamar said.  He then began to yell at his wife saying, “You trying to embarrass me in front of my friends? I’ll f–king kill you! You don’t know what I’m capable of!”

Lamar went on to share with GMA that he scared his wife at that time. “I’m pretty sure she had to be scared at that point in time,” Lamar told GMA. “I’m thinking about it now like I couldn’t believe how I was treating that Queen like that.”

While he hasn’t apologized to his wife yet, he admits he owes her and her family an apology for his actions.

Khloe subsequently kicked Lamar out of the house after that incident and he proceeded to head to a Las Vegas Brothel to have fun.

“I wasn’t thinking,” he said. “I was being selfish.”

Lamar continued on a four-day bender and he was found unresponsive at the brothel. He suffered 12 seizures and 6 strokes with his heart stopping twice. He was brought to Cedars Sinai where he recovered. He then went on to do a month long stint in rehab where he kicked cocaine, which he admits he can’t even remember the last time he did the drug.

“It’s been a long time,” he revealed.

“Everybody’s path in rehab and after rehab is going to be different to find sobriety,” Lamar said after revealing he still drinks occasionally and smokes weed. “So what’s going to be good for you might not work for me.”
