The outlet reports that Benjamin died on Sunday, July 12 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Benjamin is the son of Lisa Marie and ex-husband Danny Keough. The couple also shares 31-year-old daughter, Riley Keough, who is known for her acting roles in a number of films including, The Runaways, Magic Mike, Logan Lucky and Mad Max: Fury Road. Lisa also has 11-year-old twin girls, Harper and Finley, who she shares with her ex-husband Michael Lockwood. Benjamin is the grandson of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley.
Benjamin, a musician and actor who looked very similar to his famous grandfather, appeared in the TV documentary Elvis by the Presleys. Lisa commented on her son’s resemblance to her father in an interview with CMT.
“He was at the Opry and was the quiet storm behind the stage!,” she told the outlet. “Everybody turned around and looked when he was over there. Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny. Sometimes I am overwhelmed when I look at him.”
Back in June, Lisa shared a photo on Instagram of her with her four children. “Mama Lion with cubs ❤️🖤💚💙🦁,” she captioned the black and white photo.
Our condolences go out to Lisa Maria and the Presley and Keough family at this difficult time.
