It’s been 6 months since news broke that One Direction star, Louis Tomilinson’s sister, Félicité Tomlinson, died in March  at the age of 18.

Original speculation as to the cause of death had the younger Tomlinson passing away from a suspected heart attack. According to new reports, her cause of death has been revealed to be from an accidental overdose. Coroner Shirley Radcliffe revealed that the 18-year-old combination of drugs was the “perfect storm.” The drugs she had taken, including cocaine, Xanax and Oxycontin, proved fatal.

At the time of her death, Félicité had passed out at her apartment in West London. Friends quickly dialed 911, but it was too late. The model was pronounced dead. Her death came just two short years after the Tomlinson family found themselves dealing with the death of the matriarch of the family. In 2016, Louis’ mother Johannah Deakin died of leukemia at the age of 43.

After remaining quiet for a month following his sister’s death, the Louis took to social media to express his thanks for the outpouring of love.

“Just wanted to thank everyone for their lovely words over the past couple of weeks. Back in the studio today to vocal something I wrote a few months ago. Sending you all loads of love x,” he wrote.

According to BBC, Dr. Radcliffe went on to say, “She was an individual who took drugs deliberately and has succumbed to their… effects accidentally.”

Our thoughts are with the Tomlinson family.
