Real Housewives of New York Star LuAnn De Lesseps Taken Into Custody Following Probation Violation

Countess De Lesseps, also known as LuAnn De Lesseps, found herself in hot water after violating the probation of her December 2017 arrest for assault, disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest.

The Real Housewives of New York star was taken into custody on Thursday. According to ET, new terms were added to the probation, including keeping a breathalyzer in her car, having weekly telephone meetings with he psychiatrist and in-person monthly check-ins.

TMZ reports that the reality star had informed her probation officer that she had “2 glasses of mimosas after a performance” in Chicago. According to her probation, that is not allowed. LuAnn was to not touch alcohol for a year under the plea deal.

The Countess released a statement, following incorrect reports that she was actually taken to jail.

“I’m glad the judge was understanding once made aware of the evidence provided and I was then released,” she said in the statement. “I am now looking forward to completing my remaining few months of probation. I want to put this behind me and move forward with my life.”

LuAnn was arrested in December 2017 in Palm Beach, Florida for battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and crimes against a person,

“I want to offer my sincere apologies to anyone I might have offended with my behavior,” LuAnn said in a statement following the arrest.”This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being there brought up long-buried emotions. I am committed to [a] transformative and hopeful 2018.”
