Four weeks into the season, NBC’s popular reality series, The Masked Singer is revealing yet another celebrity hiding under a mask. This time, the show revealed a sports legend.
In the first three weeks Group A pitted Miss Monster, Robot, Llama, White Tiger, Turtle and Kangaroo against each other, with Miss Monster, Robot and Llama all being eliminated from the show.
Week 4 saw a whole new group of characters going head to head in Group B. Group B consists of Banana, Frog, Kitty, Mouse, Taco and Elephant. And while all did a fine job at their respective performances, it was the Elephant that didn’t fair well and was chosen to go home.
The panel made their final guesses. Jenny McCarthy thought the Elephant was Lance Armstrong, Nicole Scherzinger guessed it was DJ Steve Aoki, Ken Jeong went way out of the boxy by guessing that the Elephant was Beto O’Rourke and Robin Thicke thought it was motorsports competitor Travis Pastrana.
Unfortunately, non of the panelists got it right. The Elephant was revealed to be none other than professional skateboarder Tony Hawk.
“I appreciate your support. This was a totally new experience for me,” Tony said in his final remarks. “I had one more song in me but I didn’t want to go much further, so thank you for releasing me.”
The Masked Singer airs Wednesday nights at 8/7c on FOX!
