“She is going to be Ok. She is going to be OK and so much of that is because of you guys. I will forever be indebted to you for the support and love but I have got to be one hundred percent present with my daughter and this is not my story to tell. It does not feel right for me to be sharing this chapter publicly,” she said in a tearful video on Instagram. “I am taking a break from social media. If Brielle wants to share this story with you she will do it when she wants to do it. I am committed and grateful and privileged to be dedicating every ounce of my energy to her right now. This kid is special. This kid is strong. This kid is going to do some big things with her life. But it’s up to her if she wants to share those things. ”

Michelle adds that she will return if Brielle wants her to share her progress, but she added an update saying, “she is going to be okay.” Just know the update is she is going to be one hundred percent totally fine. That’s the update.”

Michelle also shares a message in the caption to the video.

“I need you guys to know how grateful I am for each and every one of you. I need to take a break from social media to allow myself to be fully in tune with my daughter and her needs,” she wrote. “She is going to be just fine! We are going to get thru this! I just feel strongly that I need to honor Brielle and her privacy right now. When and if she wants to share her powerful story- she will. And I will be there to support her either way. Love you all so much! #BrielleStrong

Brielle’s dad, Ryan Money, also shared the good news that Brielle was being moved out of ICU.

“Brie had a big win today. She moved from the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) to the NTU (Neuroscience Trauma Unit). She is doing so well!!,” he wrote. “Truly your prayers have been heard and are being answered. Your love, thoughts, spirit, positive energy are felt! We are so grateful for those of you who have invested in Brielle’s recovery. Anyone familiar with a TBI recovery knows that this is a sacred and special time. I’m not sure how many times I have cried today… Brielle has a road ahead of her and with as tough as she shown herself to be we have high hopes but also we have all the time and energy she needs from us. #briellestrong

We’re glad to hear that Brielle is making a positive recovery. Our thoughts are with the family.
