Get ready to snap your fingers again. The beloved Addams family is hitting the big screen in a new animated film version aptly titled, The Addams Family.

Morticia, Gomez, Pugsley, Wednesday and Uncle Fester are up to their old creepy and kooky ways in the animated version directed by

The Addams Family began as a television series in the 1960s that was based on the characters from Charles Addams’ New Yorker cartoons. The television series starred John Astin, Carolyn Jones, Lisa Loring and Ken Weatherwax and introduced us to such creepy characters as Uncle Fester, Lurch and cousin It.

The Addams family was reincarnated on the big screen in 1991 with Anjelica Huston as Morticia Addams, Raúl Juliá as Gomez Addams, Christina Ricci as Wednesday Addams, and Christopher Lloyd as Uncle Fester.

The animated film will feature the voices of Oscar Isaac as Gomez Addams, Charlize Theron as Morticia, Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley, and Chloë Grace Moretz as Wednesday. Also featured in the film are the voices of Nick Kroll, Bette Midler and Allison Janney.

In the animated first trailer, the kooky family can be seen at their spooky home doing…well, spooky things. The words “Think your family is weird? Think again,” pop up on the screen as the family partakes in abnormal behavior. Imagine the possibilities of what an animated Addams family can get up to.

The Addams Family will hit theaters on October 11.
