Amanda Bynes might finally be getting the help she deserves. On Wednesday (March 18,) her lawyer David Esquibias is asking for privacy as the Hairspray actress enters treatment ‘for ongoing health issues.’

“Any reports that Amanda is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false,” continues Esquibias in a statement to PEOPLE magazine. “We ask for privacy during this time, and for any speculation about her personal life from the public and the media to cease so Amanda can focus on getting better.”

The statement comes at quite the turbulent time for Bynes, as she has shared on Instagram in recent months that she not only got engaged to a man named Paul Michael that she met in her sober treatment facility, but then also headed to Instagram to tell her fans that they had broken up just three weeks later.

And on Monday (March 16,) she and Michael announced that Bynes was going to have a baby. The couple’s  announcement has now been deleted from Instagram. Currently her most recent Instagram post is dated March 9, showing a picture of her and Michael in a warm embrace.

Here’s to hoping that Bynes gets the help she so desperately needs.
