The First Teaser for Disney’s Live-Action “Aladdin” Will Give You Chills

Calling all Disney fans! The first teaser trailer for Disney’s live-action version of the beloved classic “Aladdin” is here— and boy does it look good!

After the success of the live-action “Beauty and the Beast,” Disney announced a new “Dumbo” remake, along with a new “Mary Poppins,” and now, “Aladdin” joins the lineup with a slated May 24th, 2019 release date.

Disney’s first teaser for the film leaves a lot to the imagination, but does reveal some clips that fans will recognize from the original 1992 animated version of “Aladdin.” While there hasn’t been much info released about the cast and crew, we do know that Will Smith is set to play the role of Genie per an announcement he shared on Instagram, saying, “LEMME OUT! Can’t wait for y’all to see me blue!”

Fans will recall that the late Robin Williams voiced the original Genie, leaving Will Smith with some big blue shoes to fill— and we can’t wait to see more!
