On the very same week that Rolling Stones’ front man Mick Jagger found himself in the hospital undergoing heart surgery comes word that rocker Ozzy Osbourne’s health troubles are continuing. And sadly, it looks like these music powerhouses aren’t unbreakable after all.
In Osbourne’s case, his team says that due to an injury he suffered while dealing with a bout of pneumonia, the Prince of Darkness will now need to postpone all of his 2019 tour dates.
“I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates,” Osbourne said in an Instagram post on Thursday (April 4.) “Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!”

While wife Sharon Osbourne has yet to comment on her husband’s condition on her various social media channels, Ozzy’s team went on to say in the Instagram post that the injury came as a result of a fall that further aggravated injuries that the rocker had already suffered in a 2003 ATV accident. The postponed shows will be rescheduled beginning in February 2020 and concert-goers are being asked to hold onto their original tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates.
Get better Ozzy!
