It can be fairly easy to gaze at the stars who live their life in the spotlight and think that it must be nice to live in that shiny world. But in true Pink fashion, the pop songstress shows the other side of that spotlight in her new music video for her song “90 Days.”
“Team work makes the dream work,” Pink said in a message on her Instagram page Wednesday (June 19) alongside a clip of the video. “I had an idea. I told some people that I love about that idea. We went and did it.”
The latest single off of her new album Hurts 2B Human, Pink showcases the often painful life behind the smile, with the music video setting the scene of what its like to leave her family. Starring in the video is not only her real-life husband Carey Hart, but also friend Ellen DeGeneres.
The Grammy winner, who has seen success on the charts with songs such as “What About Us,” “Raise Your Glass,” and “Try,” is seen in portions of the video in a bright light and a yellow robe. Yet, there are other parts of the video in which the pain of living is demonstrated through dark and moody scenes, with one showing Pink crying in the bathtub.
Pink is currently out on tour as part of her Beautiful Trauma tour. She and Hart share two children together.
