Parenting in the spotlight of millions could understandably be stressful. But for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, they are making it look like a breeze.

“They are basking in the glow and enjoying each day,” a royal source tells People magazine in a recent interview about the days since the birth of their son Archie back in May. “As most new parents are, they’re just so excited. There’s something new every day. They’re just really happy.”

Indeed, it’s evident that Markle and Prince Harry have very clear feelings about how they want to raise Archie outside of the spotlight in some cases. For example, the royal little one’s christening was held on Saturday (July 6) with very little public fanfare.
“It was very, very low key,” a source says of the brief and rather small ceremony held at Windsor Castle. “You wouldn’t have even known it was going on. It was all very well thought through.”

Nevertheless, Baby Archie did get noticed on Wednesday (July 10) when he joined his mother and various other family members at a charity polo match that his father was participating in. According to various reports, Archie was surrounded by royal cousins such as Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
According to Sussex Royal Instagram, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex today took part in the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day for the Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Memorial Polo Trophy. The charity match raised vital funds and awareness for charities supported by Their Royal Highnesses. These organisations included African Parks, The Invictus Games Foundation and The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust.”
