Ryan Reynolds Talking About Watching “Frozen” With His Daughters is Every Dad

As the father of two, actor Ryan Reynolds knows first hand what it takes to keep the little ones happy. But even he admits that there are some things that he simply can’t take much more of, no matter how happy it makes his kiddies.

“I have seen Frozen with my daughters so, so many times,” Reynolds told Ellen DeGeneres on her show on Tuesday (Dec. 4) about his daughters James and Inez with wife Blake Lively. “People don’t know this, a lot of parents don’t know this, but if you actually watch Frozen backwards, it’s actually a shot for shot remake of The Exorcist. So that would obviously enrage a lot of parents.”

Yep, he’s losing it. But yep, he still loves it.

“It’s always a challenge, with two kids,” says Reynolds, who is starring in the new movie Once Upon a Deadpool, which is set for release on Dec. 12. “I think of blinking now like tiny little breaks. But it’s a dream. They’re the best. They’re my buddies. I love it. It’s kind of made me a better person, I think.”

His new movie is actually a recut version of his last movie Deadpool 2 and is now rated PG-13.

“I get a lot of parents who come up who say to me, ‘Are they ever going to do a PG-13 version of Deadpool? ‘Cause parents and adults, myself included, want content that they can watch with their kids that’s also entertaining for you,” he says. “And that’s what this version of Deadpool is.”
