Shawn Mendes Performs Elvis Presley’s “Hound Dog” During All-Star Tribute

In a tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, Shawn Mendes made an appearance to perform Elvis’ 1956 hit “Hound Dog.”

“Elvis All-Star Tribute” joined together artists such as, host Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Little Big Town Pistol Annies, Darius Rucker, Adam Lambert, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, and Ed Sheeran for an all out party.

The “Stitches” singer, dressed in a red silk jacket and white button down, had the crowd clapping along as she belted out lines from “Hound Dog” like, “You ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog / Cryin’ all the time / You ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog / Cryin’ all the time /Well, you ain’t never caught a rabbit and you ain’t no friend of mine.

Besides his solo of “Hound Dog,” Shawn took part in the collaboration of “If I Can Dream” with Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Post Malone and Blake Shelton.

Other show highlights included Keith Urban performing “Burning Love,” Ed Sheeran singing “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” Little Big Town’s version of “Are You Lonesome Tonight” and Josh Groban singing “It’s Now or Never.”
