Tim Allen’s “Last Man Standing” Gets a Premiere Date on FOX

After abruptly being cancelled by the ABC network last year, Tim Allen’s sitcom “Last Man Standing” received new life when the FOX network picked up the successful comedy.

The show’s lead actor, Tim, revealed his excitement after hearing of the show’s extension into a seventh season.

“When I heard the offer to create more episodes of ‘Last Man Standing,’ I did a fist pump so hard I threw my back out,” Tim said in a statement. “It’s the fans! I could not be more grateful for the fans who wrote petitions and kept up the passion and incredible support for the show.”

Now, Fox has revealed the premiere date for the conservative leaning show, which many people speculated was the cause of it’s demise on ABC.

“Last Man Standing” will begin it’s new season on September 28 at 8pm, airing Friday evenings on FOX.
