Between them, they have five Oscars and 12 Golden Globes. Everything they do is beloved, which is why Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep had no problem appearing on “Ellen” together and making complete fools out of themselves just for the sake of comedy.

Currently, Tom and Meryl are starring in “The Post” together, which has already become an instant classic, but the Hollywood legends have a played a lot of legendary characters over the years– Woody, Miranda Priestly, Forrest Gump and about a dozen more. So, what happens when Meryl takes on Woody or Tom takes on The Iron Lady? Oh, you know just a few more legendary performances to add their resumes.

Meryl took on Forrest Gump and Andy, while Tom took on Miranda and Margaret Thatcher. Of course, the props were the best part.
