“Unbreak My Heart” singer Toni Braxton’s niece, Lauren Braxton, passed away Monday (April 29) at the young age of 24.

Lauren died of a heart condition, her father told TMZ. According to the site, 911 was called on Monday, and Lauren was unresponsive when paramedics arrived. She was pronounced dead by paramedics.

Lauren, known to her family and friends as LoLo, is the daughter of Toni’s younger brother, Michael Braxton Jr., the only son of six siblings. His sisters Toni, Tamar, Trina, Traci and Towanda can be seen on the reality show Braxton Family Values on The WE. Michael a singer/songwriter in his own right has appeared on the show.

Tony and her dad had a close relationship as evidenced by the 24-year-old’s posts about him on Instagram. In a few birthday posts, Lauren shares that her father is her “whole world.”

“Happpppppy Birthday🎈🎁🎉 to my whole world 🌍‼️I love you so much Dad 🤓❤️🤗😍,” she wrote with a montage of photos of her dad holding her as a baby.

“Let me take this time to say Happppy Birthday to the best man in the world, my fova 🎂 I love you so much 💕💙,” she wrote in another post with dad.

Our thoughts go out to the Braxton family at this difficult time.
