The worlds fascination with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, continues as the royal couple tries to schedule a honeymoon following their wedding on May 19

Unfortunately, the couple hasn’t been able to successfully make a plan. According to Travel&Leisure, the couple was going to honeymoon in Africa. Whether or not that was true, any plans for the royal honeymoon that become public, need to be changed for safety concerns. Needless to say, Africa is probably out.

“The honeymoon destination has changed a few times since they started planning,” royal expert Omid Scobie told “If a location leaks prior to travel, it compromises their safety on the trip, and they’ll be advised by their protection team to change plans. William and Kate’s protection officers ended up doing recon on two destinations before they settled on the Seychelles for their 2011 honeymoon. I heard that just over a month before the wedding, Harry and Meghan hadn’t even booked a destination, so these plans have come together rather quickly!”

TMZ is now reporting that the royal couple will head to Alberta, Canada for their honeymoon. We’re guessing they’ll have to change those plans again, now that the specific location has been leaked.

Can’t they just honeymoon in peace? Let’s hope that no matter where they decide to honeymoon, the Duke and Duchess are able to enjoy their time away from prying eyes.
