After apologizing for what many are calling a racist Tweet toward President Obama’s former Advisor, Valerie Jarrett, Roseanne said she would be leaving Twitter. Well, that didn’t last long. The comedienne couldn’t stay away from all the negative and some positive reactions she was getting, causing her to get back into the fray to respond.

Her TV daughter Darlene, played by Sara Gilbert, spoke out about Roseanne’s actions saying, “Roseanne’s recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least.”

Roseanne later responded, “Wow! Unreal.”

Then when her TV son D.J., played by Michael Fishman spoke out, the actress shot back.

Michael said, “Today is one of the hardest in my life. I feel devastated , not forthe end of the Roseanne show, but for all those who poured their hearts and souls into our jobs, and the audience that welcomed us into their homes. Our cast, crew, writers, and production staff strived for inclusiveness, with numerous storylines designed to reflect inclusiveness. The words of one person do not exemplify the thinking of all involved.” He went on to say, “My character was designed to represent the inclusive nature of my views.”

Roseanne replied, ” i created the platform for that inclusivity and you know it. ME. You throw me under the bus. nice!”

Michael again responded. “You fought, built, and designed Roseanne for inclusiveness. That is why yesterday was so out of character with the last 30 years. It was in your hands from the beginning to the end. No one can deny that.”

Roseanne also responded to Emma Kearney, who portrays granddaughter Harris Connor-Healy, when she wrote, “As I called my manager to quit working on Roseanne, I was told it was cancelled. I feel so empowered by @iamwandasykes, Channing Dungey and anyone at ABC standing up for morals and abuse of power. Bullies will NEVER win.”

To which Roseanne responded, “And who are YOU? I’ve never heard of you and my people will remember your comments.”

Roseanne not only responded to her castmates but retweeted many supportive tweets from the twittersphere, including that from the President of the United States, who Tweeted in response to ABC’s actions.

“Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that “ABC does not tolerate comments like those” made by Roseanne Barr. Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC. Maybe I just didn’t get the call?,” the President said.

And here we go…
