Of Course, Figure Skater Adam Rippon Was Amazing During “Dancing With the Stars” Premiere

It only took a few seconds of “Sissy That Walk” by RuPaul to introduce Adam Rippon‘s dancing career to the world on “Dancing With the Stars” with partner Jenna Johnson.

In case anyone has forgotten, Adam stole the world’s hearts this winter competing as America’s first openly gay athlete in the Olympics as a figure skater. He won a bronze medal during the team figure skating competition, but he became a star by delivering dozens of one-liners throughout the competition.

Adam absolutely brought the sass to the stage, but he was also just a really fantastic dancer.

The judges agreed.

“I think that was good, it was grace, it was clear… the whole thing was full of cha-cha content and I really enjoyed watching it,” Len Goodman told the skater.

With Carrie Ann Inaba adding,“You were born to do this show.”

Adam and Jenna walked away with 24/30 points.
