If you’ve been following “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” all season, then you know the best of the best have competed for the championship. Monday night (Feb. 18) the winner of the first champions season was revealed.

It came down to the two best finalists, ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, who won AGT’s Season 12 and magician Shin Lim, who won AGT’s season 13. As the two contestants stood on stage, host Terry Crews held the envelope with the winning name in his hand.

“It’s incredible to have gotten this far. But now we are going to find out who the voters have chosen as the winner,” Terry said. “Our panel of fans from all fifty states has voted. The winner of the title America’s Got Talent: The Champions Best in the World is…Shim Lin.”

As his name was called, Shim fell to his knees in disbelief after being crowned the first-ever champion of champions.

Throughout the season Shim has been baffling judges and the audience with his sleight of hand card tricks. The 27-year-old stepped up his performances, even as he recently came off of his Season 13 win.

That’s two in a row for the magic man. Shim was the last man standing amongst top 5 contestants including Preacher Lawson, Cristina Ramos, Kseniya Simonova  and Darci Lynne Farmer, who took second place.

Congratulations to Shim!

America’s Got Talent season 14 will premiere over the summer with new judges and a new host. Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union will take over for Mel B and Heidi Klum while Terry Crews will replace host Tyra Banks.
