We’ll never know if Catie Turner’s first 30 seconds of “Manic Monday” did her in on “American Idol” or not, but one thing is for sure– she’ll be one of the most legendary and memorable contestants to ever be on the show.
Ater straight up owning a jazzy, ska-like version of “Oops!…I Did It Again,” Catie stumbled on her Prince portion of the evening. And though she recovered in a timely fashion it seemed to not be enough for America.
Seriously, America– how could you not keep Catie?
