While we live in a world where there are countless ways in which we can decide to spend our time, it can be very hard to not only find the time to watch a television show, but to love the television show you are watching.

And that’s exactly why this news is so sad.

After 15 seasons on CBS, the mystery drama Criminal Minds is coming to an end. The show’s season 14 finale will air on February 6 and then Season 15 will be the cast’s last.

“It is the quintessential CBS hit,” said Amy Reisenbach, CBS’ EVP current programs in a new interview with trade publication Deadline. “We are so proud to have aired it. It speaks to everything we do best, which is air quality television. It’s been successful not only on air but online, in syndication, internationally for ABC (Studios).”

One of the longest running scripted series’ on television, Criminal Minds will now join an illustrious list of successful shows with a long history including NBC’s ER and CBS’ CSI, with only Gunsmoke, Law & Order, L&O: SVU, NCIS and Grey’s Anatomy currently ahead of it on the list of the longest-running dramas ever.

So we want to hear from you…are you a Criminal Minds fan?
