Fox news host, Brit McHenry, is opening up to her followers about a recent health diagnosis.

The Fox Nation host took to Twitter to share the devastating news that she found out she has a brain tumor. Earlier this week, Brit posted that she was going for an MRI and the results of that test.

“MRI tomorrow for neck and brain. Never had one before, pretty nervous,” she wrote in one post. She followed that up with a post the next day.

I had good & bad news today,” she wrote. “Overwhelmed by the support by friends & strangers alike. With the best surgeons and doctors. Just another thing to take on. Please I can’t stress enough, make your check-ups. Get an MRI early. It could have saved me.”

It wasn’t until, Thursday (Feb. 27) that she revealed the results of her MRI.

“I was trying to keep this relatively private. But as usual, things are being said without my consent,” she began. “I have a brain tumor. I’m with an amazing medical team and surgery is imminent. Thank you for continued support and understanding at this time.”

After revealing the news, prayers and well wishes came flooding in from friends and co-workers.

“Sending so much love and prayer your way, Britt. You got this!,” wrote ESPN’s Jenna Laine.

“Sending you much love and strength. We are all behind you,” added Meghan Kelly.

“Sending love and strength Brit. Please let me know if there’s anything we can do,” shared The View host Meghan McCain.

Brit began working at ESPN in 2014, as a correspondent for shows including SportsCenterOutside the LinesNFL Live and Baseball Tonight, before joining Fox news as a correspondent in 2018. She is currently a commentator on Fox Nation, Fox News’ 24/7 streaming service.

We are wishing Britt well as she undergoes surgery.
