“Fuller House” Finally Addresses the Absence of Beloved “Aunt Becky,” Lori Loughlin

As the taping for the fifth and final season of Netflix spinoff Fuller House has now wrapped up, fans are finally going to find out how the show will handle the obvious absence of beloved cast member Lori Loughlin, otherwise known as “Aunt Becky.”

Apparently, Aunt Becky is in Nebraska.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the show will air an episode in which the fictional Uncle Jesse’s young daughter, Pamela, gets bitten at school and Uncle Jesse (played by John Stamos) conjures up an outlandish plan to figure out who did it.

“You don’t think that maybe you should run this by Aunt Becky first?” D.J., played by Candace Cameron Bure, asks.

“Aunt Becky is in Nebraska helping out her mother,” Uncle Jesse reveals. “I don’t want to bother her with such a tiny little thing like this.”

Well, alrighty then.

This is the first time that Loughlin’s absence from the show is addressed since the actress was arrested in the college admissions scandal back in 2019. Last month, Loughlin pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal.

“It was very difficult,” Bure told Entertainment Tonight last month about filming the final scenes of the show. “I had the most dialogue at the end. It was incredibly real, which makes it as believable as possible, so I hope that the acting looked OK, ’cause it’s all really from the heart. There were a lot of tears and those were all very real tears. There really wasn’t much acting involved because we were so present and felt the moment.”

The final season of Fuller House in on Netflix now.
