For the first time all season on “American Idol,” I was impressed with the judges. During Gabby Barrett’s original audition she sang Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl” and when the judges asked if she had another song she tried to sing “Church Bells.” When the judges finally convinced her to not sing a country song, she really started to shine. And ever since then, she’s ditched the country and been super impressive.

So far, Gabby is in the top 50 and the judges are really loving her.
