Actress and singer Naya Rivera is currently missing, and the possible details surrounding her disappearance is almost too much to bear.
On Wednesday (July 8,) the actress who played the role of tough girl Santana on Glee was reported missing after an outing with her son Josey Dorsey to a California lake. While her 4-year-old son was found sleeping in his lifejacket on the pontoon boat that Rivera had rented earlier in the day, the actress was no where to be found.

Just a few short days ago, Rivera shared a touching picture of her with her son Josey on Instagram, writing the caption “just the two of us.”
Ventura County Sheriff’s Department held a news conference Thursday afternoon saying that there is no indication that Naya made it to shore. The focus of their search efforts are currently in the water.
Rivera’s disappearance and possible drowning continues a long line of tragedies that have hit the cast of Glee. Both Mark Salling and Cory Monteith have passed away since the show originally debuted in 2009.

In June of 2018, Rivera divorced husband and fellow actor Ryan Dorsey, the man she shares son Josey with.
Prayers are going out to Naya and her friends and family at this time.
