‘Voice’ Winner Jordan Smith Escapes Serious Injuries After Scary Car Accident

Season 9 winner of The Voice Jordan Smith is thanking his lucky stars that he is going to be ok following a terrifying car crash that occurred on Tuesday (Sept. 10.)

Of course, he’s thanking God too.

“Yesterday I experienced what can only be described as Divine protection,” Smith wrote on his Instagram page Wednesday (Sept. 11) alongside a series of pics from the accident scene. “I walked (well, crawled) away from what should have been a devastating situation with only that cute little scratch on my arm.”

Smith went on to say that most of his belongings that were in his car ended up getting strewn all over the interstate. Yet, one thing remained untouched.

“The only thing in the car that was still in place was (wife) Kristen’s Bible in the back window,” he said. “If you’ve ever wondered if God is real, swipe left!”

And if this doesn’t give you goose bumps, nothing will.

The Kentucky native and music powerhouse married wife Kristen back in 2016, just one year after winning The Voice and winning over then coaches Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams.

Here’s to hoping Smith is feeling better very soon!
