The Panda was the latest casualty of the show. The premiere episode eliminated and unmasked two celebrities — Olympic skater Johnny Weir (The Egg) and Youtube star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins (Ice Cream)— while episode two revealed one.

If you recall, some of the clues that were revealed about the Panda was the admiration for their dad’s humble strength  and having to fight for their dreams. A bee was also use as a clue along with the word match that had the judging panel focus in on.

Alas, not one of the panelists guessed who was under the mask, however Robin Thicke had mentioned her name in passing. Ken Jeong guessed Queen Latifah, Nicole Scherzinger went with Venus Williams, Jenny McCarthy put her money on Wanda Sykes and Robin Thicke came in with comedian Loni Love.

The Panda turned out to be Laila Ali, author, boxer and daughter of the legendary boxing champion Muhammad Ali. That’s where the bee clue came in— “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.”

“It was crazy, Laila said of her experiencer. It was a lot of fun. I’ve always loved to sing. I’ve always been shy with singing but it was fun to be able to perform without anyone knowing.”

Tune in to The Masked Singer on Wednesday night to see who is unmasked next.
