The phenomenon that is The Masked Singer is back and stronger as ever because yes, a new crop of hidden characters look like they are more than ready to drive the entire country nuts once again.
In a new preview for the FOX series’ second season, returning judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger can be seen trying their best to uncover who the celebrities are behind the mask. Host Nick Cannon is also back to help lead the way. Adding to the excitement over the new season is the backing track of the C+C Music Factory classic hit “Things That Make You Go Hmm” that can be heard throughout the preview.
And from the looks of that preview, this year’s costumes take it to a whole new level. A Rottweiler, Ice Cream, Tree, Panda, Spider, Leopard, Eagle and some sort of green creature are seen taking the stage in the sneak peek at the new season. Other costumes also previously revealed for Season 2 include the Butterfly, Egg, Flamingo and Fox.
Fans will recall that last year, some of the celebrities that were revealed to be hiding under the mask included Donny Osmond, Gladys Knight and the winner of the whole thing, T-Pain.
Getting excited? We are too! This year’s season of The Masked Singer will begin September 25.
