“Bachelor” Peter Weber Opens Up About Freak, On-Set Accident That Had ‘Blood Everywhere’

Bachelor star Peter Weber is coming clean about the messy accident that occurred during the filming of the new season of the reality show.

And according to him, it wasn’t as bad as everyone thought.

“Honestly, it was just a freak accident,” Weber tells People magazine in a new interview about the accident that occurred while he was attempting to get into a golf cart at a golf course. “It really wasn’t as bad of an injury as people thought. I bumped my head on the top of the cart. As I reacted, I put my head down and brought my hand up, but I had a glass in my hand…[The glass] shattered and ended up slicing my forehead open.”

And while the Bachelor franchise in general has always been known for its share of drama, Weber says the pain from the accident wasn’t bad at all.

“I felt zero pain,” he recalls. “I think my adrenaline was going like crazy. It wasn’t until a couple hours in when it just kind of settled down. But the actual act of it, though, there was no pain. Blood everywhere, but no pain!”

Luckily, a plastic surgeon came to Weber’s rescue, quick to maintain Weber’s superstar looks.

“I had an amazing plastic surgeon,” he says. “Thank God he was there to stay open late and sew me up. He did a really good job. And now, I got a good battle scar. It’s a memory that will always remind me of this journey!”
