“Teen Mom OG” Stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra Might Be in Major Tax Trouble

Teen Mom OG stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are not only in love, but also just might be in some major tax trouble.

According to People magazine, the pair looks to owe more than $800,000 in tax debt, and have accrued that amount during the past three years. According to documents obtained by the magazine, the couple received a federal tax lien of $535,010 for 2016 and 2017 and then received another lien of $321,789 for 2018. The couple did pay $6,001 to the state earlier this year.

It’s a sad state of affairs for the couple, who are parents to 5-year-old Novalee Reign and 1-year-old Vaeda Luma. They also had their first child Carly, who they gave up for adoption, when they appeared on the first season of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant show.

Nevertheless, this new report about their tax issues certainly make one wonder about the comments they have made previously about their financials.

“As far as getting compensated for the show, my kids are set for life, financially. College is paid for and that was mine and Catelynn’s main thing,” Tyler said during an appearance on The Awesome Dad Show podcast, according to People magazine. “Each of our children has trust funds that money goes into and they can’t touch.”
