In 2011 the Academy of Country Music put on “Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country” to honor a select number of country music’s greatest women. During the show, a male artist sang a certain female artist’s song and then they performed together.

Carrie Underwood was honored that night for being the only female artist in the Academy’s history to ever win Entertainer of the Year, twice, first in 2008 and again in 2009. Carrie has won Female Vocalist three times and has won a total of ten ACM Awards.

Vince Gill was Carrie‘s male counterpart during the show and performed “Jesus Take the Wheel,” before Carrie joined him on stage for “How Great Thou Art.” So, the question– is this the greatest live performance of country music ever?

Hard to beat, right? Right.
