During a recent performance at the Grand Ole Opry, Merle Haggard reached way back into his catalog of hits for the crowd. Haggard, with his usual charm, played his 1980 hit, “I Think I’ll Just Stay Here and Drink” from his Back to the Barrooms album.
The hit was Haggard‘s 26th No.1 single.
This particular performance was a little different than the studio version, but still left room for a guitar solo from the country music legend.
