1. Beer Mule
Ingredients:
- 12-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 limes
- 2 tablespoons orange liqueur
- 2 bottles of light beer
Directions:
Start by making a ginger simple syrup. Combine the ginger, water and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stir until all the sugar dissolves, and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into a glass, ginger and all. Let cool.
Fill a glass with ginger syrup, add juice of 1 lime, 1 tablespoon of orange liqueur and beer. Stir. Drink.
2. Beer, Whiskey, Blood Orange, Jalapeno, Oh My
Ingredients:
- 2 oz blood orange juice
- 1 ½ oz bourbon
- 1 tbs agave
- 1 jalapeno, sliced
- 2 oz IPA beer
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 12 fluid ounces water
- 12 fluid ounces vodka
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
