How To Make The “Chris Stapleton” Cocktail

Country music lovers and whiskey enthusiasts rejoice! I present to you the best ”
cocktail” ever concocted. You don’t have to be a certified mixologist to make this drink correctly every time. Just follow these straightforward instructions and you’ll have the perfect “Chris Stapleton” every time. If you somehow mess this up, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.

First, you’re going to want to obtain a glass or cup. Really, any dish you can comfortable drink out of will do. I recommend either a lowball glass or if you’re feeling really southern, a mason jar also works well.

Second, you’re going to need to get
whiskey. Bourbon is my go-to choice, but corn whiskey or rye may also work in a pinch.

Third, you’re going to want to make sure that your cocktail isn’t contaminated with any other ingredients. No ice. No garnishes. No fruit. No mixers. Nothing. Your glass will only contain whiskey and air.

Finally, it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Bring it to your lips and fire away. Nothing should come between whiskey and you. It won’t bite (much).

Reba-Inspired Cocktail Recipe

Around here, we love Reba McEntire and are always looking for ways to honor her. Sometimes, we listen to her music all day, sometimes we watch old episodes of “Reba” or sometimes, we think up cocktails and name them after her.

We know Reba isn’t afraid of a strong drink and she’s a strong lady, so we went with a bourbon base for her cocktail. Reba is also kind and loving, so we wanted to tone it down with some orange juice and triple sec.

Reba Rose Cocktail Recipe:

1.5 oz Bourbon
1.5 oz Triple sec
4 oz Orange juice

Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add bourbon, triple sec and orange juice. Shake, shake, shake it! Pour over ice. DRANK.
