The Time Chris Stapleton Covered BB King’s “The Thrill is Gone”

Though BB King wasn’t the first to record “The Thrill is Gone,” he is the one who made it a worldwide hit. King’s version was originally released in 1969 on his Completely Well album. He even won a GRAMMY for the tune in 1970.

Of course, Chris Stapleton covers it and of course, he makes it all his own while completely staying true to the song.



Chris is nominated for a couple of GRAMMYs himself at the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards next month.
